When I first started writing this silly little thing, I wanted to keep things simple by focusing on one main character. I didn't want to lose sight of the main plot, so I didn't go into too much detail about the world. But, as I was building the story, I realized that I needed to flesh out the character's surroundings more, at least in my head. In the end, it turned out that the extra details I added actually helped shape the main story. I'm not a super confident writer yet, but this was definitely a good learning experience for me. The pages you're seeing now are a bit of a result of that 🤓
Three things this week:
I made a little Barbie/Oppenheimer-themed cocktail in anticipation of both movies. I call it The Barbenheimer:
Started watching Shrinking, and so far it’s very good, I especially love the soundtrack
