I love drawing strange alien dudes! I think I have more fun when I don’t try to stick too rigidly to perspectives and embrace a more wonky approach. I’ve found that trying to aim for accuracy and clean lines just makes it feel a bit too soulless and flat.

Even a baby one!

I’ve been developing designs for some of these recurring alien creatures and this one in the last frame was one of the first alien designs I drew. Their look is based on the oarfish:

A few things this week:

1. Continuing on with spooky season 🎃

   It was a good week for horror, including a couple of classics I’d never gotten around to watching:

3. I went to this thing, and saw some trippy visuals! the brain is a crazy thing.
